How to submit a project

Submitting a project on Story Inc. is a straightforward process designed to showcase your film, series, or story world.

Step 1: Create a Filmmaker Profile

First, set up a Filmmaker Profile through your Story Inc. account. Open the dropdown menu and select "Create a Filmmaker Profile" to unlock project submission.

Step 2: Start your project application

Select "Create Project" from the dropdown menu. This application is used for internal review and to create your dedicated project showcase page.

Step 3: Fill out the submission form

The form covers:

  • Project title and narrative summary
  • Visual materials (teasers, clips, or concept artwork)
  • Core team and collaborators
  • Development stage (concept through distribution)
  • Audience engagement objectives
  • Fan incentives or rewards

You can refine your project over time as development progresses.

Step 4: Review and approval

The Story Inc. team reviews submissions to ensure alignment with our mission and creative guidelines. You'll receive an email notification when your project is approved.

Step 5: Launch your project page

Approved projects get their own hub on Story Inc. — featuring story updates, multimedia content, Market Questions in carousel format, and audience engagement tools.
