Account settings

A more complete profile means more Story Cash and a smoother experience.

You can sign up for Story Inc. with just an email address, but completing your profile — and keeping it up to date — unlocks extra Story Cash and makes sure we can deliver your rewards when you earn them.

To access your account settings, click your username in the top navigation and select Account Settings.

Account information

Full name — used internally for account verification and reward fulfillment. Your full name is never displayed publicly — your username is how you appear on the platform

Username — your username is how you appear on the leaderboard and to the community

Profile image — add a photo to personalize your presence on the leaderboard. It makes the experience more fun and more personal for everyone competing

Email address — used to log in and secure your account

Mailing address — required to fulfill physical rewards like event tickets, merchandise, signed memorabilia, and experiential prizes. Your address is always kept private and never displayed publicly

Social accounts

Add your X (Twitter), Instagram, or TikTok handle to earn more Story Cash (optional).

Earn Story Cash for completing your profile

Filling out your profile isn't just good housekeeping — it pays:

• Complete your account profile: +$25 SC
• Add a social account: +$25 SC per social

Your status and badges

Your account Status appears at the top of your profile and reflects your standing in the Story Inc. community. Current members who joined early carry the Founding Member badge — a mark of being part of Story Inc. from the beginning, with special perks that come with it.

Status badges are assigned automatically. New badges and perks will be added as the platform grows.

Your privacy

All personal details — including your name, email, and mailing address — are always kept private. Only your username and profile image are visible to others on the platform. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
