When heavy taxes and cruelty push England's common people past their breaking point, an ordinary farmer steps forward to lead them. As rebellion sweeps the countryside, Wat Tyler forges an army of the desperate and the brave to face the might of the young King Richard II — in a fight for justice, dignity, and survival. From Paul Greengrass, director of Captain Phillips and United 93, comes the untold true story of one of history's great uprisings.
