When MI5 agents fail badly enough to be exiled — but not quite badly enough to be fired — they land at Slough House, where careers go to die under the watch of the slovenly, razor-sharp Jackson Lamb. Written off by everyone, these "slow horses" keep stumbling into the real action, proving the overlooked and discarded can still be the ones who matter most. Darkly funny, sharply human, and full of twists.
