In Metropia — a gigantic city in an alternate future as seen from 1939 — Raymond Gunn is the last human private eye in a world run by mechanical investigators. When he's drawn into a case involving aliens, murder, and a multimedia pop star named Venus Nova, Gunn discovers a conspiracy that threatens everything. From two-time Academy Award winner Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, Ratatouille, The Incredibles), 30 years after he first wrote the script. "It's Maltese Falcon meets Buck Rogers," Bird says. A Skydance Animation original, exclusively on Netflix in late 2026.
