Norm Macdonald didn't rush a punchline. He'd tell a joke slowly, let the silence stretch, and trust you to catch up. That instinct took him from stand-up stages to the Weekend Update desk at Saturday Night Live, until the show fired him. He kept doing comedy his way, in movies, stand-up, and late-night appearances that friends still talk about. This film is built entirely from archival footage, personal photos, and home videos shared by fans and friends, so the story comes from Norm himself, alongside the comedians who loved working with him.
