Sam Hanna, a veteran Special Agent who built his career with NCIS's Los Angeles office, returns to his New York City roots and takes charge of a new field team. Partnered with the unpredictable Nick Schaeffer, Hanna leads a squad tasked with protecting the country's most high-profile urban and maritime targets. The series blends the franchise's signature mix of action, camaraderie, and procedural tension with the grit and scale of New York as its backdrop. It reunites LL Cool J and Scott Caan — longtime collaborators from their Hawaii Five-0 days — with a fresh dynamic and higher stakes. The show carries the NCIS franchise's legacy of loyalty, duty, and justice into a new city and a new era.
