The Story

Jimmy traces the most transformative chapter in James Stewart's life — from his Academy Award win for The Philadelphia Story to enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps and flying twenty combat missions over Europe. He rose to the rank of colonel, only to return home broken and disillusioned. What ultimately restored him was an unexpected gift: the role of George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life. The film explores how purpose, faith, and storytelling can heal even the deepest wounds of war.
