A public school in Philadelphia, chronically underfunded, staffed by teachers who could make more money almost anywhere else. They stay anyway. Season six picks up after a year in which the district nearly closed the doors for good. The documentary crew is still filming. Somebody still has to teach these kids to read. Season 6 premieres Wednesday, October 7, on ABC, streaming next day on Hulu. Created by and starring Quinta Brunson. This season includes the show's 100th episode.
