This market resolves based on the official Best Picture nominations and winner announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the 98th Academy Awards on Oscars.org. Early Resolution (NO): If none of the films nominated for Best Picture are among the top five U.S. box office grossing films of 2025, this market resolves to NO at the time nominations are announced. Final Resolution (YES / NO): If at least one Best Picture nominee is among the top five U.S. box office grossing films of 2025, the market remains open until the Best Picture winner is announced. The market resolves to YES if the Best Picture winner is among the top five U.S. box office grossing films of 2025; otherwise, it resolves to NO. U.S. box office rankings are determined by total gross revenue as reported by Box Office Mojo for films released theatrically in 2025, measured as of December 31, 2025.
